We are a growing Biomedical Device & Optical Engineering Corporation that is part of an established European company that specializes in the design and manufacture of analyzer systems for the fields of diagnostics and life science. We have an immediate opening for an Electronics Technician. This position is located in Newbury Park, CA and requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience.

Description:

• Reading and understanding mechanical drawings, schematics and harness drawings • Soldering of through hole and surface mount components for PCB’s • PCB assembly and “point-to-point” prototypes and wiring • Harness assembly • Mechanical assembly • Basic electronic testing (following procedures using DVM’s, oscilloscope’s, etc.) • QC testing for design verification of electronics and mechanical systems (pre-written procedures) • Ability to modify schematics using OrCad • Willingness to tackle quick turn prototyping (electronics and mechanical) • Ability to conform to and support company ISO level documentation standards
